CSR / Cashier

JOB SUMMARY

The CSR / Cashier works productively as part of the restaurant team and performs their job responsibilities in such a way that all the products they make are of high quality and customers they serve are satisfied.

PERFORMANCE RESULTS

  1. Serves customers according to the Zito’s Customer Service Standards, and the telephone and front counter procedures.
  2. Displays the proper image as outlined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff.
  3. Cleans and organizes workstations and other assigned areas to help maintain the standards for restaurant image as outlined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff.
  4. Practices safety and security procedures as defined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff, and by government agencies.
  5. Follows Zito’s’ policies, procedures, and standards of conduct as outlined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by management.

NATURE & SCOPE

The CSR / Cashier receives direction from the store management team and Zito’s training materials to effectively perform their job. CSR / Cashiers will practice the established procedures and use the proper tools associated with taking and preparing customer orders.

CSR / Cashiers need to work in cooperation with other CSR / Cashiers and management to achieve restaurant goals. Due to the nature of our business, CSR / Cashiers will be scheduled according to our business needs and therefore no guarantee of hours can be made. This position requires physical work such as; lifting, squatting, and standing up for long periods of time on any given day.

TASK ANALYSIS

Due to the active role the CSR / Cashier plays, this position requires physical work such as:

  1. The ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  2. The ability to reach and move items from as high as six feet and as low as six inches off the ground.
  3. The ability to control and utilize equipment safely and correctly; i.e. telephone, cash register, etc.
  4. The ability to communicate to customers and co-workers (i.e., reading, speaking, hearing, writing).
  5. The ability to understand direction, instructions and product specifications.
  6. The ability to process and complete customers’ orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A Zito’s employee must be at least 16 years of age.
  2. Dependable, hardworking and the ability to handle pressure situations and stress.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to express a positive attitude towards others.
  4. The ability to understand and follow direction and instructions.
  5. The ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
  6. Previous retail or customer contact experience preferred.

Kitchen Cook

JOB SUMMARY

The kitchen cook works productively as part of the restaurant team and performs their job responsibilities in such a way that all the products they make are of high quality and customers they serve are satisfied.

PERFORMANCE RESULTS

  1. Prepares menu items according to the Zito’s Standards.
  2. Prepares high quality products consistently by following Zito’s recipes, specifications and procedures as shown on the station job helpers.
  3. Displays the proper image as outlined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff.
  4. Cleans and organizes workstations and other assigned areas to help maintain the standards for restaurant image as outlined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff.
  5. Practices safety and security procedures as defined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff, and by government agencies.
  6. Follows Zito’s’ policies, procedures, and standards of conduct as outlined in the Zito’s Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by management.

  4. The ability to apply pressure to cut through and to clean products.
  5. The ability to count, separate and weight all types of food products and inventory items.
  6. The ability to communicate to co-workers and comprehend food orders (i.e., reading, speaking, hearing, writing).
  7. The ability to understand direction, instructions and product specifications.
  8. The ability to process and make customers’ orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A Zito’s employee must be at least 16 years of age.

  4. The ability to understand and follow direction and instructions.

Driver Requirements

JOB SUMMARY

The driver works productively as part of the restaurant team and performs their job duties in such a way that guarantees any item they deliver are of high quality and the customers they serve are satisfied.

1. Applicants must be eighteen (18) years of age.
2. Applicants must have no less than two (2) years driving experience.
3. Applicants must have a valid California Driver’s License.
4. Applicants cannot have more than two (2) moving violations and one (1) at fault accident in thirty-six (36) months.
5. No major violations are allowed. Major citations are as follows:

  • Driving under the influence
  • Driving while impaired
  • Driving in possession of alcohol or drugs
    Refusal to submit to a blood, urine, or breath test.
  • Driving with a suspended or revoked license
  • A felony in which a vehicle is used (i.e. vehicular manslaughter, vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, hit & run, eluding a Peace Officer)
  • Reckless and/or careless driving
  • Driving over 100 mph; speed contest; racing

6. Applicants must provide acceptable proof of financial responsibility in the form of current insurance. This proof must list the vehicle they will be driving for delivery, and allow for commercial use of vehicle.
7. All vehicles driven on behalf of Zito’s Pizza must meet the state of California’s safety requirements.
8. No driver shall under any circumstance carry passengers in/on the vehicle during deliveries.
9. Any driver observed driving in an unsafe manner or driving an unsafe vehicle, will be barred immediately from driving duties.
10. If the driver has a violation for driving without current registration, license or insurance; then the drivers insurance must be checked every three (3) months for two (2) years.
11. A driver charged with any MAJOR citation will be suspended from driving duties until all charges have been resolved.
